OUR CLEANING DIVISION PERFORMS DEEP CLEAN AT CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTRE’S EXPANSION PROJECT
Our cleaning division was appointed by Aveng Grinaker-LTA, the main contractors for the Cape Town International Convention Center’s (CTICC’s) East Expansion Project (or CTICC 2), to do a deep clean of the new Meeting Pod and Marshalling Yard sections. A deep clean process is necessary to ensure that the building is at a state of cleanliness or sanitation which is acceptable for people to occupy the space. The Meeting Pod area included:
• The Ground Floor Café and open area with shopfronts, escalators, and observation lift;
• 3 levels of Meeting Rooms, each leading out to an external timber balcony, with one of the levels having an additional external tiled terrace; and
• A roof area which constituted a 600m² timber deck and glass balustrade. The observation lift lobby and stair lobby are both located on the roof, and constitute shop front finishes.
The Marshalling Yard area included 5 levels of back-of-house rooms, services- and plant rooms.
